Human Relationship!

One of the most important relationship lessons I learned was this:   The relationships we have with other people are projections of the relationships we have within ourselves.  Our external relationships and our internal relationships are in fact the same relationships.  They only seem different because we look at them through different lenses.

Good friend from India mentioned yesterday that he received a call from our tour guide from our Vaishno Devi trip , early this year ! That was a very sweet surprise! Really? The guy remembered us and called us five months after we met in a remote land, for the first time in our lives? How so? He must be seeing thousands of customers in a day, speaking to them, negotiating with them, and seeing millions of people around him but still; why did he remember us? You tell me…

The flower-shop owner from whom I buy flower every weekend, to offer to the deities at home; gives me a big smile and hug, every time I go to his shop. I didn’t ask him; neither do I socialize with me. I just buy flower from him…Why so? In fact, there are many of these in my life and all our life perhaps. We just need to remember, identify and cherish.

It’s because of the connection, as we are all connected through a binding force. Fortunately, once we embrace the subjective nature of relationships, we’ll have a much easier time relating to people.  It’s easier to get where we want to go when we have an accurate map.  The subjective view of relationships implies that we can change or improve our relationships with others by working on the internal relationships within ourselves.  Furthermore, we can improve our internal relationships, such as our self-esteem, by working on our relationships with others.  Ultimately it’s all the same thing. Cule? Make sense? Will one day for sure!

Somehow I freeze; every time I come across this movie on the tele, while channel hopping. Yesterday was one such day. Yet again for 21st time (may be or more) I watched this movie. There is a beautiful song in this movie (about Human Relationship), which makes me cry, every time I watch. We just need to listen to the song carefully and try to understand the meaning of each line. It’s beautiful.

How was it? Part of it says: Sky is full of stars, only then & only because, the sky looks so beautiful and we admire it. Rainbow is also full of colours, only then & only because, the rainbow looks beautiful and we admire it. But if we separate the stars or colours and see them individually; it may not create that appealing effect on us.

This movie has a special place in my heart. There was a time, when only this movie had the ability to bring smiles to my face, my mind and my heart. Incredible. May it bring the same to you today and for many more years to come…
