Return of Super-cyclone!

The return of super cyclone wrecked many coastal homes, uprooted trees and blocked roads in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha states of India. Eighteen people have been killed. All but one of the deaths were in Odisha. In 1999 a super-cyclone killed more than 10,000 people officially in Odisha.

People had one day in between (today) to get settled before embracing the biggest festival in the region, Duserra.!!! Read today; the word 'Dusehra', comes from Sanskrit 'Dasha Hara', which means removal of 10 bad qualities within you : Kama Vaasana - Lust; Krodha - anger; Moha - attachment; Lobha - greed; Mada - over pride; Matsara - jealousy; Swartha - selfishness; Anyaaya - injustice; Amaanavta - cruelty; Ahankara - ego; ....

What else is left then? Not a big ask at all, when all it means 10 times more empowering our self. More we are empowered, more the down-fall of these evil activists (Lust, Anger, attachment, greed, alcohol, price, jealousy, selfishness, injustice, cruelty and ego).

It has been a believe since many centuries in our region in India; that when the Goddess goes back to heaven after Duserra, she take away all the odds/difficulties from the world with her and leave again a peaceful world for her devotees to live with, for another year….not an exception this year…for fifteen days, people were living under scare zones, alarming to the possibilities of the super cyclone.

And look at the consistency of that believe; weather forecast for the state tomorrow: is a bright sunny day with light rain in the afternoon! And there is the Goddess yet again proving, "I am always what I am…I am always there to take care of things" and all you need to do? .....Is to defeat those 10 activists within you and empower yourself. Not a bad deal after all to empower our self, after all…!!!

MAY THIS DUSSEHRA LIGHT UP FOR YOU THE HOPES OF HAPPY TIMES AND DREAMS FOR A YEAR FULL OF SMILES…

WISHING YOU ALL A HAAPY DUSSEHRA!
